Biography

Casey Bell is a self-taught artist, learning key techniques of sculpting from his sister, a master sculptor, who lives and teaches art in Zaragosa, Spain. He returns to Spain regularly, and is influenced by the neutral landscape of the countryside. Many of is pieces are intended to be displayed outdoors.

Born in Washington D.C., Casey spent his childhood living in various cultures throughout the world. He was surrounded and influenced by art and artists, spending many early years and his adolescence in South Africa, Spain and Japan. He has shown his work throughout Michigan.

Casy is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and was the Executive Chef at San Chez Bistro and Mezze Cafe in Grand Rapids, Michigan for seventeen years.
He is now enjoying his new job as a Research and Development Chef at Request Foods in Holland, MI.
